SPACE 1889: Martian Musketeers

marmus1

I wanted a unit of Martian Musketeers, and this is it: The musketeers are converted from an older Grenadier miniature, Open-Handed Elf, from Forlorn Hope Games. Just a bit of bending, and muskets from the parts box

The standard bearer and officer are from the Wood Elf Command pack. (Although the standard bearer is 25 years older than the rest of the unit.)

Overall, I’m pleased with the way it turned out.

  1. More lovely figures for you Space 1889 project, when will we be getting a group shot of the whole army?

The Standard bearer looks good for his age, you would have thought one of the “whipper snappers” around him would have helped him with that flag, wouldn’t you. 😉

    Cheers Roger

  2. I’ve had several requests for a group shot: Not until I have posted every unit in the army. I gotta have pages you know. (I also have no idea where I’d have enough room for a group shot. There are a good number of units! 11 or so infantry, 5-6 cavalry, and a pile of artillery.)
